Ritché Bridal

We just returned from the bridal event of the year. Every summer Enzoani hosts store owners from across North America to view their upcoming collections and show them a great time. We thought it would be fun and interesting to give you an opportunity to see how the show went.

The show was hosted at the Marriot Hotel in beautiful sunny Newport Beach California. We arrived on Monday July 18 and checked in to our hotel. Enzoani staff greeted all with a 4M Party! The four M’s? Massage, manicures, make-up and martinis! It was a great way to relax after a long day of travelling.

Tuesday was a free day which was a great opportunity to explore Fashion Island across the road. Fashion Island is an upscale outdoor mall with many famous U.S. anchor stores such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom’s and many high end designer shops too. We gather back at the hotel to prepare for an early outdoor dinner under sun shading umbrellas (it was super hot). It was fun and interesting to meet and mingle with other retailers and press. Our table had prominant U.S. media from notable companies like Martha Stewart Wedding and Your Wedding Day Magazine. After dinner we walked to the outdoor runway stage for the big fashion show. We were lucky enough to have front row seats! The show was dynamic. It featured 2012 Enzoani and Blue wedding gowns, Love bridesmaids and evening wear. The music was funky, exciting and loud. The whole envirionment was electric. When it was over, designer K.C. came out and modestly took his bows. The crowd moved out to the pool area and a great cocktail party began. We mingled with store owners and press while drinking cool drinks by the pool. Models paraded in the new Love 16 prom and eveningwear collection that will be introduced for 2012. The party wraps up with a late night snack. Food trucks from the famous California chain, In and Out Burgers, dole out delicious bed-time burgers!

Wednesday the serious work begins. After a delicious breakfast we headed in to the ballroom where all the gowns and dresses are displayed for the retailers to select . This is a very difficult process as stores want to select the best possible dresses while maintaining a budget.  In the end we think we chose great gowns from Enzoani and Blue in addition to Love Bridesmaids and eveningwear! The process took almost all day but we think that our customers will love our choices. The evening concluded with one more party! We crossed the road to El Torito Restaurant for a delicious dinner, drinks and prizes.  Ritché was honoured to be presented with a plaque as the Platinum Award winner for 2011 for top sales in Love bridesmaids and Eveningwear in North America! Thanks to all our customers that helped us receive that award. Thursday was a travel day and back to the store.Thanks to all the staff at Enzoani for hosting such a wonderful event and providing our customers great new styles for next season.
