As Elon Musk and Tesla continue to push forward in pursuit of a future headlined by primarily self-driving cars, many have yet to take part in the unique experience.
However, UFC commentator and the host of The Joe Rogan Experience can now say he's been there and done that. Joe Rogan took to X on Tuesday to respond to a post showing a Tesla self-driving through a narrow gap, revealing that he let his car drive him home recently.
Rogan called the experience of giving full control to his self-driving Tesla Model S "f***ing wild" and "bananas," while offering some details of the trip.
"I had my Tesla model S drive me home the other day with FSD, and it’s f***ing wild. Changes lanes to avoid slow traffic, stops at red lights and stop signs, hits the blinkers and turns for you. It’s bananas," Rogan wrote on X.
While there's been some debate about self-driving Teslas, as some drivers have reported issues with the Full-Self Driving (FSD) technology, others seem to use it often and fully support it.
Regardless, we're still a decent ways away from self-driving cars being the norm in the United States, and it's bound to take a lot of getting used to for virtually everyone if and when that shift does ramp up.
