He’s a market news analyst and financial journalist, currently working for the American basic cable business news channel CNBC, while he’s perhaps known best for having guest hosted the game-show “Jeopardy!” from 2 to 6 August 2021. The show has been airing since 1984, was created by Merv Griffin, and follows a champion and two challengers who are testing their knowledge in many categories; it has won 52 of the 159 awards for which it’s been nominated.

Early life and education

David was raised in a Jewish family in Queens, New York City, by his parents about whom little is known, because he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father is a lawyer, and that his mother’s an accountant. He became interested in journalism at the age of 12, after he started watching the news with his father on a daily basis; David then focused on his education, determined to one day pursue a college degree.
